  • Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri, a renowned UNESCO world heritage site was established in the 16th century by Akbar, a Mughal Emperor. Home to the largest mosque in India, the majestic Jama Masjid, the beautiful city is also a hub of architectural wonders. The fort city also houses the famous Buland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim Chisti and a plethora of small forts owing their existence to a bundle of intriguing stories. You will certainly be taken back to the magnificent Mughal era with such delights.

At a distance of 36 kms from the main city, it is fairly convenient to reach this attractive tourist destination. You can board one of the numerous buses plying at regular intervals or hire a private taxi for a comfortable journey.

Keep your shoes ready and your cameras handy for a bag full of splendid memories.  

  • Bharatpur

The fortified, beautiful city of Bharatpur is believed to be founded by Rustam, a Jat of Sogariya clan. The lovely city houses the spectacular bird sanctuary known as the  Keoladeo Ghana National Park.With an astounding species of birds, Bharatpur is heaven for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. Sunrise and sunset being the opportune moments for a kaleidoscopic view of the rare species of aerial dwellers.

At a distance of 56 kms from Agra, it takes almost an hour to reach Bharatpur. You could hire a private taxi or board one of the many state transport buses available at Idgah Bus Stand, the main bus stand of Agra.
