firstly. I booked Seymour Hotel this hotel but when I arrive & after I paid they money they told me I will stay in White House London. I am shocked because I use Booking.com more than 10 years & &I trust booking.com. But, Tiny room, too small bathroom, narrow stairs However, No Internet. Beside it too dirty , sting and dust in the carpet, Hot room and you hear the noise. Also, no Elevator. The good thing in this hotel location is very good between Paddington and Egware road & Private bathroom.

We booked this hotel after looking it up on the website and looking at the photos provided. Admittedly we only paid £95 for a family room for 3, for 1 night, which included a free breakfast. When we arrived at the address ther was a sign on the locked door that check-in was at a hotel back up the street! So we walked back up the street to the Seymour Hotel where we checked in. when we asked why we were told that the same management ran several of the hotels on this road! As he handed over the ke...

We booked a family room with the White House Hotel. When we arrived there is a message on the door to goto the Seymour Hotel two doors down. There we are told we are staying in this hotel NOT the one we booked. The room is something out of the 70's very out dated and EXTREMELY TIRED looking. A good point the sheets and pillow cases were clean and in good order, unlike the beds and throws - very worn and ripped. The bathroom... where should I begin. It's just over the size of an aeroplane toi...
Unwelcoming, Noisy, Smelly

Good position, close to Paddington Station, but staff treat you as an imposition on arrival & ignore visitors in kitchen room. Reception & breakfast room in separate building, locks not great, no chains on doors so security problems. No brakes on doors so lots of banging. More banging when toilets flush. Electric plugs don't work, loose cables on tv which is above the kettle so steam goes into tv. Not safe. Smells of bad drains, mould & cigarettes, no signs warning of non smoking policy. Room & ...

The White House Hotel doesn't seem to exist as such - it's a corner of the Seymour Hotel. Having endured an ill-mannered concierge (who didn't speak English fluently) and a reg. form demanding intrusive/irrelevant personal details, I ended up in a rather cramped room, with a matchbox-sized bathroom. The latter being the major problem - the shower, because it was so small, needed [and lacked] safety rails to prevent slippage (and also needed a better, more reliable, thermostat).
