Chaitra Navratri is celebrated as an important Hindu Festival that is celebrated in the months of March-April. It is celebrated in the first month of Hindu Calendar that is Chaitra. In these nine days, the fasting is done in the holy name of Goddess Durga. These nine days, nine forms of Goddess Durga or Shakti is worshipped. There are 9 colors of Chaitra Navratri each with their significance. The ninth day is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ram, popularly known as Ram Navmi.
