The Baron Resort Sharm El Sheikh is a large white building set within landscaped grounds, overlooking the straits of Tiran and located in the port of Sharm El Sheikh, set on over 500 metres of private beach. Day trips can be organized to a number of attractions; these include Mount Sinai, where the Moses is said to have procured the Ten Commandments, and the beach resort of Dhahab, further up the Sinai coast, both 150 kilometres from the hotel. Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is 10 kilometres (six miles) from the hotel, a 20-minute drive.
