The Terpinitz family constructed the building in the style of Viennese Ringstra�enpalais as a railway station hotel for the planned railway into the M�hlviertel. The line was never realized due to the chaos during the 1st World War, however, the hotel began to operate its business. In the thirties, the premises became the property of the Waldh�r family, to which the building now owes its name. Up until the nineties the building was run as the Waldh�r inn. At the end of the eighties and during the beginning of the nineties, the building was carefully restored to its former identity. In 1993, the building was finally used for what it was originally constructed: the Hotel Waldh�r opened its doors. A symbiosis of classic and modern elements has been successfully developed in the Hotel Waldh�r. The flair of the classic architecture is linked to the luxury and the comforts of the modern age.
