We at Ritoque Raices, a ‘family’ of lifetime locals and people who simply got stuck in this little paradise, believe in the importance of sustainability and the fragility of our nature and culture. All our operations therefore follow the concepts of sustainable tourism: we recycle actively, use alternative energy sources, work only with local and independent partners who share our sustainable believes, and try to conserve the surf culture and history of this amazing place by sharing with and educating foreign travelers as well as locals! We are the ideal place to get away from the Gringo Trail for a while and explore the beaches, swells and nature of Chile's V region, try some new and crazy activities or simply chill. Want to surf? No worries learn how to surf where surfing in Chile started. We offer surf and body board lessons for all levels. You already know how to handle the waves? Depending on the daily conditions and your ability we get you to the most suitable beach so you can enjoy some of our beautiful waves. Playa Ritoque is surrounded by loads of beaches, all with their different breaks and swells. We are small & busy and you must have a reservation. Check in is between 9:00am - 9:00pm only.
