We are open daily from 9.30 am to 11.00pm. WHO WE ARE City Backpackers is a small, newly opened hostel located directly opposite Kallang MRT train station minutes away from the city center. Our great location on the train network makes us easy to reach from the airport, 15km away. Buses to Malaysia (Lavander / Golden Mile) are 5-10 mins away. ACCOMMODATION FOR ALL We are simple, clean, safe and provide good value for those on a budget or on stopovers wanting a good night's sleep. We have welcomed backpackers, students, working vacationers and guests from around the world. We have dorms that sleeps from 4 persons or up to 10 persons. OUR FACILITIES We have helpful, friendly staff with basic needs including FREE local guide maps, air-conditioning, Free Broadband Internet (PC Access at reception hours), clean sheets, Free lockers, microwave, hot / cold showers, laundry services, BEER, a mini-library with guide books...and more! CONVENIENT & GREAT LOCATION Near major shopping & tourist attractions, a few stops from the central business district and surrounded by local food/fruits stalls - our area is known for food and its nightlife. NEARBY ATTRACTIONS - Bugis shopping (cinema, night bazaar, food, souvenirs) - Famous night spots / bars/ discos / cafes, boat rides along Clarke / Boat Quay, along beautiful Singapore River. - Geylang - famous for food, culture museum, night scene. - Near National Stadium / Library, historical attractions. - Near Raffles City shopping, department store, CHJIMES, balloon ride, GMAX bungy ride, night shopping. IMPORTANT: Hostel reception opens daily from 9.30AM to 11.00pm (If you plan to arrive after this time it is vital you call or email us to arrange this) CHECK-IN TIME: 2.00 PM and CHECK-OUT TIME: 12 NOON ---Arrivals outside reception opening hours will be entertained provided you email at least ONE DAY in advance please! Please email us if you are arriving very early or very late. Please call us from the airport if you don’t have a cell/mobile phone and need to contact us---- Cancellation / No Show policy: 1. Cancellations not allowed 48 hrs prior to arrival. Full payment chargeable. 2. Cancellations between 48 hrs and 7 days prior to arrival incurs a one night charge. Please email us for cancellations.
