Statesville Parks & recreation opened a new recreation center. This brand new facility opened in February 2009. The facility has an outdoor swimming pool with water park play area, indoor gymnasiums, multi purpose rooms available for rent, group excercise room, fitness center, locker rooms, climbing wall and a supervised child care room.
