Santa Barbara Tourist Hostel is a fully equipped hostel catering to the international backpacker. We're only steps from the beach and the main street>State Street with great views of the surrounding palm trees and mountains. Onsite we have laundry machines, vending machines, internet kiosks, common kitchen and information boards suggesting activities while visiting Santa Barbara. Private Rooms:If you want the privacy of your own room but still enjoy the social aspects of a hostel, then choose a private room. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities and a complimentary continental breakfast. Shared Dorms: Our dorms are intendedfor the international backpacker; dividing walls in some rooms give you more privacy than a regular dorm. The views from the windows show off Santa Barbara perfectly.Continental breakfast is included in the price. All prices include all taxes. Dorm rooms are intended for international travelers with a valid non-US passport and can be asked for proof of international travel (planeticket leaving the USA) For American citizens a current out of state student ID and another form of official ID is required. There are no requirements to stay in our private rooms. All prices include all taxes. Opening times: 8:30 am till 11:15pm. During the day the lobby is closed between 12:30pm and 2:30pm (rest of hostel remains accessible) Our check in time for private rooms and dorm beds is after 3pm. If cancellations/ changes are made up to 72 hours before your check-in date, you will not be charged. Late cancellations, changes in reservations or bookings that don't show will be charged a one night no-show/ late cxl/ late change fee.
