Our hostel is 24 hrs for check in (closed from 9am to 3pm with exception for checkin or checkout); with the owner on the premises. WI-FI included and we have a clean and secure locked third floor location. When requested, the owner will introduce you briefly to the area to help with your orientation as a treat. When possible to do so, the owner may pick you up at the airport (gratuities are welcomed) and the cab cost is aproximately US$15. Shared Amenities: Bathroom and hot water shower; little kitchen/pots/dishes/utensils/refrigerator/freezer. Clean sheets and pillows are included in the price also: screens to prevent from mosquitos, fans, night light, table, nice common area by the kitchen, balcony, smoking area, shorts rides for less than a taxi. We recommend come and drive although good public transportation from our area to San Juan and sorrounding area. Not the same out of San Juan. We are walking distance from popular attractions, night life, restaurants, grocery store, churches, hospitals, and more. Just 1 block away from main public transportation routes, San Juan hostel is located in the working class community in Santurce, (San Juan Barrio); ½ hour walking distance from the beach and approximately 20 minutes by bus from one additional beach (bus wait time is approx. additional 10 minutes).
