These eight large one and two bedroom well appointed units feature full kitchens, cable TV, coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators, stoves, window or floor A/C units and gas grills. There is a huge wrap around porch for all of the quiet enjoyment of the guests. The most significant change occurred at the Stonegate Mansion when interval ownership was introduced in August 1985. The developers of the property engaged PT1 Associates from Columbia, South Carolina to design the interior. Their work resulted with Stonegate Mansion receiving a first place recognition from the National Timeshare Commission in Washington, D. C. for the renovations of the property. Stonegate is within walking distance of the town of Great Barrington, a quintessential rural town, located in the southwestern corner of Massachusetts, that has maintained its small town charm and character, even as it has grown to meet the business, educational, shopping, entertainment and recreational needs of residents and visitors in the tri-state region it shares with eastern New York and northwestern Connecticut.
