Role & Responsibility
- Build, manage and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, online ad networks agencies, business partners and maintain a minimum threshold of Ad Sales revenue
- Create aggressive sales pitch, seal new business and also make sure that the delivery is being met to clients, responsible for end-to-end sales process.
- Effective sales planning based on the time of the year to make sure that the inventory is fully utilized and maximize ROI
- Establish a leadership position as an online advertising platform among the target segment
- Creating an optimal smart & aggressive sales team and rapidly expand the Media business operations across. Apart from new business, the role includes account development to have long term business association with clients.
- Finding out who controls the advertising budget among the target segment organisations and contact them for new business.
- Develop and maintain a prospecting / targeting system, implement it to provide weekly/monthly pipeline reporting to the management team
- Formulate and implement innovative Advertising packages that maximizes the revenue opportunities with brands and agencies to rapidly expand the business
- Drive results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor / Masters degree in Sales & Marketing preferably from a top B- School OR Equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years of experience in online media sales
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to identify & solve new business opportunities through ideation of new products.
Soft Skills
- Strong media sales experience with proven track record of achieving media sales revenue for the organisation
- Genuine passion for sales, understand the online media market and its growth potential both on web and mobile
- Proven experience in building a result oriented sales function within Start-up environment
- Strong understanding of the Internet media space, search engines, online advertising players and related business models
- Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
- The ability to work under pressure meet targets and have exceptional time management skills and should be good with numbers
