Lovely hotel

by kiwi62 on 03 Jun 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Two nights spend here primarily to go hiking in the Sierra Nevada. We were the only guests staying, clearly this region of Spain is not on the tourist run yet! The room and bathroom were a good size and centrally located for restaurants. Our host made a great attempt at giving us advice in English, sometimes I think things got a little lost in translation. However her restaurant recommendations were spot on. Breakfast, which was extra and which is one of the things that got confused with the la...

An immaculate old stye hotel.

by ijc51 on 24 Sep 2015 (Couple Traveller)

We were looking for a place close to Granada but in the Sierra Nevada so we could go for a hike. This hotel was perfect. It had wide corridors, large rooms and as noted was absolutely immaculate. Parking is free and wifi was good. We were warmly greeted by Carolina who guided us to a local restaurant where we had an excellent meal. About a five minute drive away is a parking lot for the park and we enjoyed a 2 1/2 hour hike to a beautiful gorge and suspension footbridge. Before we left Caroli...

Absolutely lovely hotel

by taylorfam_006 on 19 Sep 2015 (Family Traveller)

We spent three nights here recently and we absolutely loved this hotel. It is traditional with quaint charm and was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious with wonderful mountain views. The shower did have a slight mind of its own but who cares when you get such a warm personal welcome. In fact we have never received such a genuine welcome from any hotel we have stayed in. On arrival we were greeted with tea and cakes from our wonderful host who remained just as attentive for our entire st...

Lovely little hotel, convenient for Grenada and Sierra Nevada

by Sharon G on 29 Jun 2015 (Couple Traveller)

We spent 3 nights in this hotel in May. It is in a great location, with beautiful views. On arrival we received a warm welcome from the owner, Alicia, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, with advice on using the bus, local restaurants and directions. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good, with lots of Alicia's home cooked specialties, including the lovely orange cake! We took the bus into Grenada from immediately outside th...

Beautiful hotel...a real hidden gem in the heart of Andalucia

by Stephen F on 06 Jan 2015 (Friends Traveller)

I have visited this hotel on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. It's location is spectacular, quaint surroundings and so typically Spanish while being just a stones throw from the beautiful city of Granada (bus stop is only yards away). Granada has it all for people of all ages, a busy bar scene, fantastic tapas and wonderful sights. As for the hotel itself..well what can I say. The warmest welcome you could receive anywhere and the interior of the hotel is just immaculate, ...
