Alzer Hotel , Beyoglu

While this hotel is well located, thats really all its got going for it. Not our style - very tired, hard uncomfortable beds, small bathroom and a grumpy greeting when we checked in. While it was clean and tidy, its definitely only a 3 star hotel. Breakfast was sparse and as we were leaving early for a flight, they couldn't accommodate breakfast for us. Bit of a ripoff given we had paid to have breakfast included.

Excellent location, opposite the blue mosque and most of other sight seeing are walking distance, beautiful terrace view where breakfast is served, free room and lobby wifi, very clean and very friendly staff Breakfast could be better, If tea trays are add to the rooms, some cakes and fruits are added to breakfast would make the stay perfect joy

First of all the location is perfect!! 3 minutes walk from blue mosque, 6 minutes walk from grand bazaar... A lot of restaurants in the area... Breakfast was ok.. They will arrange the shuttles... Customer service was ok.. Honestly I didn't ask for anything.. Just some directions.. BUT THE ROOM WAS REALLY SMALL AND THE SHOWER TOO.. If you are planning just to go to sleep is perfect!! This is a very late review! The trip was of three of us girls and we randomly found this hotel in Oct 2010. The hotel is known for it's beautiful view of Blue Mosque while having amazing breakfast! Even after five years, that is my highlight of the trip. It is a hotel where you leave your bags and enjoy this gorgeous city! We stayed in the triple room which are clean are decently spaced. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. We had a great time. The hotel was close to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Palace and was convenient to the tram stop (only a short walk away). The wifi was great. Others said the call to prayer was very loud but we were in the back of the building and not a problem for our room (number 45). The rooftop terrace was great for breakfast - wonderful view.
