We had to go to stay in this... "hotel" for a night. It was the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed. The rooms all smelled cigar smoke ( I'm not kidding, it was a really strong smell), then I had to pay another 10 Euros to park my car to a nearby parking. Anyway, I tried to erase this from my memory. It was an emergency and I had to stay there. If you are broke and don't want to sleep in on a bench in a park in Athens, you may want to stay here. Otherwise search somewhere else. But I must say that I ...

Hotel looks totally different than pictures. We arrived after 11 PM and our 1st shock was the neighbourhood: dirty streets and abandoned houses spoiled with graffitti all over. Old man from Reception did not speak English at all and he asked for cash, even if our reservation was non-refundable. POS had bad internet connection and he didn't know how to use it. He didn't understood what ia POS ... He knows only about "the machine to pay"....Come on, we are in 2016! We decided to take off and find ...
The value meets the price
by Andres S on 25 May 2016 (Solo Traveller)
The set of the room is simple. As the price is cheap, I didn't expect more than that. There is a balcony in a 3 beds room. Towels were provided. A small fridge was available. The building is by the side of a street, so it's noisy, especially during the day time. If your budget is limited, it is not a bad option.
Huge Rooms, Economical Prices
by SuWillson on 18 Mar 2016 (Friends Traveller)
Okay club members: this clearly is not THAT Soho however for a central location near Syntagma station with space, balcony and clean linens daily I say "check it out!" Two of us had a huge room with 3 beds so we used the 3rd for our suitcases! Storage was available and there was a small fridge for water or any snacks or leftovers you might have. Though it is on a grimy street I felt safe as a woman and the neighbouring shops included good prices on breakfast foods and there is a great "cheapest ca...
Cheap but still wanting
by agiaba on 18 Oct 2015 (Friends Traveller)
Okay, this is a cheap place to stay, so my expectations were not high and I am not a fussy traveller. But the carpets were heavily stained, the room stank of damp smelly feet so bad that we had to keep the windows open constantly. The staff are friendly however. The neighbourhood is a bit dodgy but from previous experience of living in Athens, so long as you look like you know where you are going then it is fine. I would rather pay a little extra and get better next time.
