ixigo is offering free cancellation and instant rescheduling on all domestic flight bookings with its 'Assured Flex' fares. This includes either a one-time no-questions-asked refund on cancellation or a one-time free rescheduling that includes a change of date, airline and sector (origin & destination).

In case of rescheduling, travellers will only pay the fare difference and receive a refund if the new fare is lower.

How does Assured Flex work?

• Simply book a flight ticket on ixigo and opt for Assured Flex at the time of booking. You will be charged a nominal fee above the usual fare for this service.
• If your travel plan is cancelled, you have the option to cancel the trip and receive a full refund OR you can opt for free rescheduling that includes change of date, sector (origin & destination) and airline.

Can I still receive a full refund if I cancel a flight after rescheduling it?

Assured Flex allows for a one-time rescheduling OR cancellation only. If you cancel your flight after rescheduling, regular airline cancellation charges will apply.

Can I cancel or reschedule both the outbound and return flights if I have booked a round trip?

Yes, with Assured Flex, you can book tickets with free cancellation or rescheduling for both outbound and return journeys. You can make the changes for both flights together or separately, depending on your preference.

Can I change the sector (origin & destination) if I have opted for Assured Flex?

Yes, with Assured Flex, you are eligible for either a no-questions-asked refund on cancellation or a one time free change of date, sector (origin & destination) and airline.

Can I change my airline if I opt for Assured Flex?

Yes, with Assured Flex, you can opt for free and instant rescheduling that includes change of airline, sector (origin & destination) and date of travel.

Can I reschedule multiple times for a single passenger?

Assured Flex is applicable for a one-time flight rescheduling request that includes date, sector (origin & destination) or airline change. For changes second time and beyond on the same booking, regular rescheduling charges will apply.

Terms & Conditions

1. There is a nominal charge above the usual fare for the cancellation/rescheduling service, called the Assured Flex fee.

2. In case of cancellation option availed via Assured Flex, the refund will include the airfare and taxes.

3. The refund amount will not include the following:
  • Any discount or cashback received at the time of booking.
  • Additional costs for ancillary services such as travel insurance, baggage insurance, etc.
  • Assured Flex and convenience fee paid at the time of booking.

4. The refund amount will be credited to the original mode of payment.

5. Travellers need to cancel or reschedule the flight on ixigo to avail the benefits of Assured Flex.

6. For Assured Flex, change of sector (origin and destination) only applies to domestic destination/itineraries.

7. In case a traveller has already availed free rescheduling and they wish to cancel the rescheduled flight, then they will not be able to use Assured Flex benefit. Regular airline cancellation charges will apply.

8. If the flight is cancelled by the airline, the charges paid to avail Assured Flex are refundable. However, instant refund will not be applicable in this case. 18% GST is included in the Assured Flex fee.

9. Terms of Use and privacy policy of ixigo shall apply.

10. In the event of any misuse or abuse of the offer by the customer or travel agent, ixigo reserves the right to deny the offer or cancel the booking. ixigo shall not refund the booking amount in such cases.

11. Customers, who are travel agents by occupation, are barred from making bookings for their customers and ixigo reserves the right to deny the offer or cancel the booking. ixigo shall not refund the booking amount in such cases.

12. ixigo reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.

13. ixigo is the sole authority for interpretation of these terms.

14. ixigo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to force majeure event.

15. In the event of any misuse or abuse of the service by the customer or travel agent, ixigo reserves the right to deny the offer or cancel the booking.

16. In no event the entire liability of ixigo under this offer shall exceed the amount of promotional discount under this offer.

17. ixigo shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the service.

18. Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
