How do I know if a hotel is eligible?

Only hotels with the 'Best Price Guarantee' tag are eligible. This tag is visible on the search page for select properties in specific cities.

What is the maximum refund I can get?

You'll get 2X the price difference between the ixigo booking and the lower-priced listing with a maximum refund of ₹2,500, credited as ixigo money.

When will I receive the refund?

For prepaid bookings, refund will be credited within 72 hours after checkout. For pay at hotel bookings, refund will be credited within 30-45 days of checkout.

What should I submit to claim the refund?

You must provide your Booking ID and up to 3 screenshots or a screen recording showing the lower price, room details and availability from another platform, within 24 hours of booking.
Terms & Conditions
  1. ixigo's 'Best Price Guarantee' is available only for selected hotel bookings in specific cities. You'll see this option only if you've recently made a travel booking (train/bus/flight) via ixigo and if the offer applies to selected hotels in your destination city.
  2. The Best Price Guarantee offer is applicable only on confirmed hotel bookings.
  3. Under this guarantee, if you book a hotel via ixigo and find the same hotel at a cheaper rate on another website or booking platform, we will refund the amount equivalent to 2X (2 times) the price difference to your ixigo money account. You can use this ixigo money amount on your next booking.
  4. The maximum refund value under the Best Price Guarantee refund offer is ₹2500.
  5. The refund of the price difference will be credited to your ixigo money account within 72 hours after you check out from the hotel in case of prepaid bookings. In case of Pay At Hotel bookings, refund will be credited within 30 - 45 Days of your check out.
  6. To submit a claim under this offer, you must provide a valid hotel Booking ID, which can be found in the 'My Trips' section of the ixigo app or in the booking confirmation email or WhatsApp message.
  7. Claim requests must be submitted within 24 hours of completing your hotel booking via ixigo.
  8. To be eligible for a claim under this feature, certain conditions must be met. The hotel booking from ixigo and the hotel search result from the alternative platform/website must exactly match on the following parameters:
    • Property/hotel name and address
    • Check-in and check-out date and time
    • Room and bed type
    • Cancellation and amendment policies (must be at least as flexible as those offered by ixigo)
    • Same occupancy (number of adults and children)
    • Same or superior amenities/benefits (e.g., breakfast, meal plan, spa, etc.)
    • Currency type
    • Same payment method
    • Additionally, the price shown must be the final booking amount (inclusive of any service fees, convenience charges, or taxes). Card offers by banks are excluded while calculating the final payable price on the competing website/platform. The room must also be available for instant confirmation when the claim is verified by the ixigo customer service representative.
  9. Best Price Guarantee' does not apply to the following types of reservations:
    • Third-party loyalty program rewards, including frequent flyer miles redemption
    • Unpublished rates, such as: Packaged rates, Private rates
    • Hotel rooms sold as part of a travel package
    • Rates not available to the general public, including: Corporate discount rates, Group or meeting rates, Loyalty program rates, Membership-based rates
  10. ixigo reserves the right and discretion to determine the validity of any claim, including but not limited to verifying that it is for the same property, room type, or dates, and ensuring it meets all terms, conditions, and claim processing requirements.
  11. The 'Best Price Guarantee' feature cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. ixigo reserves the right to amend, revise, supplement, suspend, or discontinue the 'Best Price Guarantee' feature at any time, without prior notice. Please review the terms and conditions periodically to stay informed about any updates or changes.

  13. Best Price Guarantee is currently applicable only on selected hotels in certain cities, as determined by ixigo. ixigo reserves the right to change the list of eligible hotels at any time, without prior notice.
  14. In no event shall ixigo's total liability under this offer exceed ₹2500 per booking.
  15. ixigo's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy shall be applicable.
  16. ixigo reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
  17. ixigo is the sole authority for the interpretation of these terms.
  18. In instances where there is suspected fraudulent activity or misuse of Best Price Guarantee, ixigo may request supporting documentation to verify the relationship between the person making the booking and the traveller. Failure to provide the requested documentation may result in the cancellation of the booking, with the user bearing any associated cancellation charges.
  19. In such cases, ixigo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the booking without prior notice.
  20. ixigo shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages and loss arising out of or in connection with this service.
  21. Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana.
  22. ixigo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to a force majeure event.
  23. Furthermore, ixigo reserves the right to take appropriate legal action if misuse or fraud is detected.
