1st Visit to Silom Centre point

by MikeS63 on 23 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

This was my first visit to this hotel, been around the area a lot, good for transport, i.e river and Skytrain. This hotel like a lot of other Centre points is build above a Robinsons department store and has direct access during opening hours. Had a deluxe room , which was clean and spacious, alone with a fridge freezer and microwave and a small electric hob to cook. The hotel like a lot of others serves a buffet breakfast, which was adequate to suffice, though not the most expansive I've seen...

Great location and spacious rooms

by dah87 on 22 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

Great location right by the river, convenient for express boats and the sky train. Booked a deluxe room with river view. Room was nice, clean and spacious, with a small kitchen and washing machine. Bathroom with separate shower and tub. No bath robes in the room, but housekeeping was happy to bring some. Unfortunately the river views were not that great, with a number of not-so-good-looking buildings between us and the river. The advertised balcony was basically unusable and mainly there to hou...

Great pool, decent toom

by Sng224 on 22 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

We really liked our stay at centre point silom. Taxis struggled a bit to find it, but it is close to oriental pier and the famous sky bar, with a nice night time food market around the corner. The staff was really friendly and accommodating, and the pool was really nice, but a bit chilly. The rooms were just ok. Be aware they really mean single beds if you decided to get a standard 2 bed room. We didn't try breakfast, but there is coffee and juice in the lobby most hours.

Mixed reviews

I was upgraded when I arrive to a deluxe since they ran out of whatever room I originally booked. So that was really a nice surprise. My room was a nice suite and had a washer as well. Very nice and clean, except the shower and tub. Clearly the tub had not been cleaned-found hair as well as a bunch of grimey specs everywhere. I started to clean it to take a bath and just gave up. The shower was covered in mildew and mold. Grout was black and pink. Clearly they don't scrub or bleach. I wore my fl...

Very Good

by elwintai on 19 Jan 2017

First impression is very good, greeted by a team of very very helpful, polite and friendly staffs. Location is great as 5 min walk to BTS. U can do your shopping downstairs for daily groceries. There are plenty of food stall nearby at night and a night bazaar just beside the department store. The room is spacious, with large bathroom..but the queen size bed seems abit small i think. The only thing that i can complaint is the sound of the aircond which is so loud that i got woke up middle in the ...
