Hospitality???

Stayed her once under the old ownership. Room was very noisy and basic but apart from the rest I suppose it was decent. Main reason for staying was the location which was convenient to us. Decided to go and book 2 nights for upcoming months. When asking the staff if they still run the hotel under the new ownership he asked me "why?" - wonder if he would have asked me the same if I asked for a pint of Guinness.. I asked him if it was possible to book the nights. The staff wasn't interested at all...

Quick bite to eat

by hotel_badger on 31 Mar 2016 (Family Traveller)

Passing by we decided to call in for a quick bite to eat which was great choice. The barman/waiter was super fast & efficient. He was so kind and warm and nothing was too much trouble for him. The only negative that I can think of is a bit of lack of atmosphere but maybe because it was quite when we were visiting. We will be back!

Saturday night meal

Very quite place nice to meet up and see friends in, the chicken wings were nice I wasn't to keen on the chips they kinda tasted like they were fried in the same oil as fish which I don't eat. It's a reasonably priced menu plenty to choose from and there is free parking for customers to which was really good.

We walked in here last Sunday. 7 adults and 6 kids. The place was empty and although decor was lovely, we were a bit dubious as we're familiar with clontarf but not the bram stoker. We ordered chicken wings, burgers and pasta. All the food was delicious, really, really good. The drinks were lovely too - wine and guinness. Would defo go back, is perfect for big groups. Just don't know why no one seems to know about it locally, it's a shame
