Coronavirus Latest Update: India bans travellers from EU, Turkey and UK

With the total number of cases reaching to 114, the government has banned the entry of travellers from EU, Turkey & UK starting March 18th.

Here are the latest updates —

1> Union Health Ministry today activated a toll-free 24×7 national helpline number, 1075, to address queries related to the infection. The previous helpline number, 011-239 78046, will also remain operational. The ministry also issued a helpline email ID – [email protected].

2> Arunachal has closed its door to tourists temporarily to prevent the possibility of the spread of Covid-19 in the state.

3> All the national monuments and museums under Archaeological Survey of India to remain closed till 31st March

4> Three more people tested positive for coronavirus in Kerala today, taking the total number of cases to 24.

5> Tamil Nadu govt orders closure of all educational institutions, liquor bars, theatres and resorts.

6> Odisha Government instructs all foreigners to register their arrival into state and home quarantine for 14 days.

7> Entry of devotees into Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai will be closed from today evening till further notice.
