No! No! No!

by dakimbay on 05 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

This place was the most disgusting and scary motel ever. Talk about dirty and unkept.... 'suite' doors that you can't be sure are locked, neighbors that you are sure will OD during the night, rude desk clerks, a parking lot that has more pot holes than parking spots, straight filth on every inch of every wall and carpet.... need I really go on? EW!

Clean and quiet, good value

I saw the negative reviews, so I was skeptical, but we needed a place to stay near Hamilton College. The hotel is under relatively new ownership, and they are putting a lot of money into it. Our room was very quiet, clean and completely adequate for two nights stay. The owners were very pleasant. They had planted some very nice flowers out front and are clearly dressing up this place. It was a good value, and we had no problems.

This is really a two star motel, but I am giving it 3 because it is under construction and the owners seem earnest in their endeavors to make it a good place to sta. It has issues now tho. I travel on business so I stay at hundreds of motels. I was only here for a 2 day stay over the July 4 weekend and I have to say my stay was just fine. The room was clean and it was quiet. This is a relatively inexpensive motel and I felt like I got what I paid for. Amenities were simple and everything worked fine. The continental breakfast was a packaged muffin and coffee. The family running the motel was always very polite to me.
