Perfect hotel in Bruges Centrium
by Tania_GhoshD on 30 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)
Walking distance from Belfort, Markt Square everything. We stayed in room number 8. The room was cozy and warm with a canal view. You can hear the belfort every hour it is that much near, it is exactly at the centrium. We walked to the hotel from the station. Bruges is a serene beautiful place. Ensor adds more charm to the stay. The hotel owner Jan ( pronounced Yan) is very polite and made us comfortable. He talked about the hotel history. I saw beautiful paintings inspired by the works of The f...
Dated decor but great value for money

If you'll be spending a lot of time in your hotel then this isn't for you. However if you want a comfy bed, good breakfast and a short walk to the town centre then this is perfect. For the price it was amazing value! The staff were happy to let us into our room early, and also kept our cases on the last day after we checked out. Lovely quiet location next to a canal, I slept really well. Surprisingly wide range of options for the breakfast buffet. On the right side of town for the train station....

The hotel is very well located, our room had a beautiful view of the canal. We were greeted at the front desk by Mark, one of the owners who was SUPER friendly and helpful. the hotel itself may look "old" for some people, but for us it was part of the pintoresque experience of being in Brugge, It had a very familiar and cozy feeling, we were very pleased with it. The room was adequate, the only complain I could como up with is that the walls are a bit thin and we could hear the people on the nex...
amazing little gem !
by Nicki C on 17 Oct 2016 (Friends Traveller)
The hotel was clean, comfortable and in an amazing location - just behind the main street which meant it was quiet but within easy walking distance to the lively places. What really made this such a nice place to stay though was the man at the desk (owner?). He went above and beyond to make our stay lovely - even calling us to tell us about a little shop we may find interesting after asking directions that morning to places. His pancakes at breakfast too make the breakfast feel extra special - t...

The hotel is beside a very picturesque canal. The view from our window was very pleasant. The room was comfortable & spacious with a small old style tv. There were plenty of channels to choose from. The hotel had a lift, free wifi, on site parking and there was tea & coffee, cups and a kettle in our room. The owner is very friendly and helpful and a very good breakfast was available (meats, cheese, eggs, fruit, breads, yogurt, cereals and various drinks). The hotel is not far from the centre ...
