RIP OFF Establishment

I am a platinum member of Starwood and Marriott. Obviously I stay in many of their hotels. On this particular night, I booked at the last minute as the corporate aircraft I fly went mechanical. The room rate was 340.00 per night for a basic room with a king bed, nothing special and no upgrade. The usual rates are 130.00-160.00 per night. This is a case you get what you payoff for. Front desk check in awful!!! the lady needed to call my husband for permission since he made the reservation. I have travelled all over the world come to Sacramento in the middle of no where and they ask me to call my husband to speak to him. They did not even call. Ok for convenience to the airport, but the hotel charges for buffet style breakfast (of the caliber, or less, than served for free at your standard Holiday Inn Express) and although they have a dinner menu at the bar, the food was not very good - frozen french fries, etc. I wish I had taken the effort to Uber elsewhere for dinner. No issues with anything else.

I could go on, but I think you get the picture. This place has been ridden hard and put away wet. I usually stay at the Grand Sheraton downtown, which is very nice, but they were sold out. I am seriously thinking of recommitting myself to Hilton. I've never stayed in a Hilton property this run down. Close to Airport

The facility is clean and well appointed for the business traveler. Room was clean and tidy. We had noise issues from people next to us; but, that is not the fault of the hotel. They moved us to another room and floor. Just a short drive from the airport and across the freeway from restaurant chains (Denny's, IHop, Sizzler, etc.) If the need would arise, we would stay again.
