We took Victorian plan for 3 nights..
which includes - breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner (66k for 3 nights for 2 adult and a kid aged 11 years)
When We tried to bargain for price, they assured us that you will get the world class service without any complaints and compromises.
We reached there at 7 PM.. our flight got delays by 3 hrs so we reached at Siliguri Airport at 4 PM and from there we took not stop drive to Ging Tea House. We had to miss our Lunch.

Beautiful location, horrendous hospitality
by suchetanp on 11 Jan 2019 (Family Traveller)
First the positives : beautiful location and quaint property .the rooms are acceptable if not luxurious for the price. the negatives are just too many . Ridiculous pricing is the first but easy to forgive. What is so upsetting is this:1)bathroom has broken tubs and sockets and the showers are a small drizzle . 2 ) the food is pathetic to say the least . Breakfast was an anaemic omelette with bananas as the only fruit . Lunch and dinner was tasteless , and the deserts were appalling. Have attached...

First class stay

Stayed at this amazing tea house in November. Luxary rooms with amazing huge bathrooms. Waited on by Andrew and all his wonderful staff. Pots of tea on the lawn while watching the women pick tea all around the house. To just sit on the lawn with their own hand picked tea and look at the amazing views was just like Shangri-la.
Every meal we had was well presented and served to us, all home cooked and soo tasty.
It was just a relaxing time away from the hussle and bussle of India.
Went on a tour ...

Idyllic Abode of the East
by jaintanu on 17 Nov 2018 (Family Traveller)
Nestled in the serene Lebong Valley, Ging Tea House is the perfect backdrop for a classic literature piece. This 18th century tranquil abode is a perfect amalgamation of traditional and conventional style architecture, equipped with all the amenities one may require to detox from the day hustle bustle. The compounds of the estate breathe of fresh smell of homegrown tea mixed with early winter breeze. The view, the tranquility, the peace, is something that words or pictures can’t really do justic...
