Kumar gives you a warm welcome! He provided us with useful and practical information. Great advices on local tips. The rooms are spacious and clean, as well as the bathrooms. Small budget but high service standards. Highly recommended !

Couldn't ask for better hosts ! Nunzia, Kumar, his mother and his whole family were so kind and helpful. Thank you so much to them for this great stay ! The room is simple but very clean, and the house is perfectly placed in the heart of Fort Kochi. While I had only planned on stay in Fort Kochi and at Green House for 3 nights, I ended up staying for 10! Kumar and Nunzia made me feel welcome and gave me SUCH great advice about Fort Kuchi, from massage places to restaurants to local markets. Their recommendations really made all the difference in my stay as I ended up going places that I never would have known about without their advice. Whoever says Fort Kochi only deserves one or two nights has clearly not explored very much... there's so ...

Since few days in India is the chaos with the payements and cash situation...500/1000 notes are not accepted anymore. No money in the ATM; no money to exchange currency... So hard for us, travelling with kids, to manage the situation.  We had the chance to find Kumar and his Green House for hosting us and make our life much easier. Before leaving Alappey, we reserved one room  via AirBnB for the same day to have the option of prepaying via PayPal; in the rush and panic of our finalcial situation...

Booked a night, 24 hours in advance, and they cancelled the booking after confirming by SMS. They did try calling but because I was on the roads, didn't have reception. Their reason was that another guest booked 1 room while arriving with 2 kids and asking for another. in my opinion the host should have cancelled the other guest who came with extra people, or at least find me a different place since arriving very early. Found my self looking for a place at 4am!!!
