Crash pad and nothing more

The location everyone compliments was merely adequate. It was a 5 minute walk to the metro, but probably most hotels are. Place De Clichy was a good location for girl-watching (and the girls in Paris are fantastic, only Prague rivals it) and is right at the metro. However, it is a good half hour walk to the Opera House and much further to the louvre. If I went again I would try and find somewhere near the latin quarter which seemed the most interesting area of paris to me. And on the the l'open...

Great Location.

I stayed at this hotel for a week, I booked it without thinking due to how cheap it was compared to other Paris hotels. Up to a week before leaving I though I would check Tripadvisor to see how other rated the hotel, I seen all the negative reviews about all sorts an started panicking that I had made a massive mistake. Upon arrival it didn't look bad, the receptionist was extremely polite, helpful & kind, I made my way up to room and it was the top floor loads of stairs but I love it, The room w...

Good location

by TripAddict88 on 03 Sep 2015 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed there for 4 nights. Good location, close to Moulin Rouge, good value for money. The room was small but very clean. The breakfast was quite disappointing, for 7 Euros - coffee, croissant, baguette, butter, jam, nutella and orange juice. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice area, many cafes and brasseries around. Unfortunately they do not provide free Wi-Fi, you need to pay 2 Euros per day...

Lovely hotel, great location

by Pamela7707 on 05 Jul 2015 (Couple Traveller)

My husband and I stayed here for only one night in June. The room itself was small (by North American standards) but very clean and quiet. I really liked the neighbourhood though, with many restaurants and shops close by. The train station (Place Clichy) is also within walking distance. We had to take two short metro rides to get to the gare du nord, but the trains are so convenient this was not a concern. At 60€ this hotel was very reasonable-we would stay here again if we vacation in Paris i...

A decent budget hotel

by rayyoong on 03 Jun 2015 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed three nights in this hotel before moving to the more central Hotel Tiquetonne. I was surprised to read some of the negative reviews about it, as our experience was very different. We were on the fourth floor in a reasonably large and comfortable room. It had a television and an ensuite bathroom, both of which we are missing at the Tiquetonne. Negatives are: no free WiFi and no lift so we had to walk up a lot of stairs. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, but we could get hot water...
