Small hotel with good service

by JohnScott48 on 23 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Best described as a small hotel, with small bedrooms, small bathroom and small bath with a small public sitting area. Bedroom was clean and warm - too warm on some occasions -but you can always open the window, as we did. No noise problems, even with the window open. Having said all that, the reception staff were exceptionally helpful in providing advice on cafes, restaurants and trekking trails. Breakfast was typical (but good) Argentinean fare.

An average hotel with dodgy payment and tax practices

by Vahid G on 16 Jan 2017

A good hotel albeit noisy (you will need earplugs for a good nights sleep) and that the water in the shower doesn't stay hot for 2 consequent showers. However the experience we had regarding the payment left a very sour taste in our mouths. We were already in El Chalten and walked in the hotel and asked the price and they told us 2400 Argentinian Pesos per night. Later that night in the restaurant we checked booking.com to see the reviews and we saw the price being listed as 1900 pesos. We to...

Lovely accommodations

by Justin B on 10 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

A smaller hotel with a lovely calm ambiance. I really enjoyed the wood and lighting - very calming. There was a relaxation loft area above most of the rooms with a day bed -- perfect for reading books. The breakfast (included) had high quality ingredients - I particularly enjoyed the afternoon tea and apple pie. The location is right next to the bus station - not the most central but El Chalten is also not very big so not a huge issue. Our room, which was a corner room with a tree view was sma...

Hospitable and Cozy

by KellyRusso87 on 04 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We were only able to stay at the Senderos for one night. The two girls at the front desk were very helpful and gave us a tour of the hotel. After unpacking our things we went down to the bar for some food. It was already closed (the chef had gone for the night), but the girl at the front desk happily served us beer. This hotel is very cozy, and I felt like I was at a ski lodge.

Nice hotel with great service

by siliarpi on 23 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We really enjoyed our three nights in El Chalten. The hotel is lovely, the breakfadt is great and the service is perfect. The receptionists helped us with every questions and help us to define our trekking trips and restaurants.
