We stayed here for 4 nights and never achieved a nights sleep. We had two rooms the first had no AC broken tiles in bathroom, fuseboard hanging off the wall. The second had a shower you had to put your foot into to use the toilet! Basically this hotel is a drop off point for tours and they arrive at all hours of the night shouting and banging all night long. Breakfast is appalling and in 4 days we never had anything but a coffee. The barman tries to rip you off for a beer with the price alternat...

I would have liked to give this hotel a better review , but unfortunately it's the same old story ! The housekeeping staff work hard to keep all areas clean and tidy , and the hotel and rooms were lovely and clean , only to be let down by front of house staff who were unhelpful, lacking in people skills . Stayed as part of a tour. For the same price we booked an AMAZING Riad in the Medina. The staff were unhelpful. The rooms air-conditioning didn't work. The breakfast was not good. Wifi didn't work in room. There are SO many options closer to the action so don't book it.

we stayed at this hotel for 3 days 10/6 to 13/6 6 adults we did not realize it was ramadan which is why we got it so cheap £190 each bed, breakfast and evening meal and flights. As soon as we walked in the staff were very friendly especially Aziz great man could not do enough for us, basically we were the only ones staying there maybe 2 or 3 other couples . The hotel itself was very quaint reasonable bar prices but did vary from day to day the food was very basic bread and eggs for breakfast mo...

Decent (but non-luxurious) hotel in Marrakesh, away from the Medina

by TheProfessor34 on 11 Jun 2016 (Solo Traveller)

I stayed here for one night at the start of a two-week holiday with the TheUntravelledWorld.com where I was walking in the High Atlas. My trip was an organised one but, because I arrived in Marrakesh a day early, I arranged my own accommodation for the first night and, conveniently, the Akabar was next door to the hotel where my tour commenced. I found the hotel to be very adequate and decent value for money (£24 + £3.50 for breakfast). My room was fairly clean (the bathroom could do with a deep...
