This hotel is located very conveniently. Reeperbahn is a 5 minute walk away (which is fairly lively and a great night out) and is also handy for accessing trains and buses. It is in a quiet area and is clean and tidy. For the price it is very acceptable. As some other reviewers have pointed out the room furniture is very IKEA but we had no issues. Comfy bed but flimsy feather pillows. Slept well and no disturbances. Bathroom small but clean and the shower is very powerful. Water felt like hailst...

Hotel Commodore is everything you would expect from a hotel at that price. It is located right at St. Pauli and thereby, also Reberbahn. So if you are looking for a cheap place to stay close to the awesome nightlife in Hamburg, this is the place. The room were nice and clean, with a good bed. They sell cheap beers in the reception, so when you are done exploring the St. Pauli area and just want to finish of the night with a cold beer, this is possible too.

Have stayed here a few time as it convenient for work. Have stayed in the main hotel and also the apartment they have just a few metre's away. Some rooms can be small and the apartments are basic, they have microwave and hob but no cooking utensils just a few plates and dishes. St Pauli football stadium, Reeperbahn, subway, St Michels Church and waterfront are a few minutes walk away and City centre within 15 minutes. Never really been bothered by noise even though it is on quite a busy road.

This 'hotel' would not even be up to the standard of a budget motel in New Zealand - where I'm from but it is 3x the price. The light in the bathroom is on an auto sensor so if you have a shower after 2min the light turns off! The WiFi is very poor quality and turns on and off randomly. There is no book in the room with details of the hotel and no button on the phone for room service. The hotel staff's English is surely better than my German but that does not say very much unfortunately. Al...

Clean, friendly, comfortable. The only negative thing is that wifi did not work in the room. Nice neighbourhood: several nice bars, restaurants, take-away and breakfast cafes. Walking distance from Reeperbahn, harbour and city centre (15 minutes). Hotel breakfast (not included in room rate) is very good.
