Its a good hotel, very easy to find. and good environment, fresh towels are provided, and breakfast is included, you have privacy and good room services. Staffs are properly trained and they are very good at work

Hotel Esplanade Chambers is one of the few decent options available in the Chandni Chowk neighbourhood area. That said it's a budget hotel so rooms are small and can fit only 2 people and their luggage and so is the bathroom. Thankfully rooms are clean but you have to ask them to clean your room if you are staying more than one night. Decent toiletries and towels were provided to us. Quaint, historic neighbourhood. Good place to begin your walk down the memory lane in Calcutta. The decor is very old school and has a 90s-ish feel. The locality is great, access to the metro ensures that nothing is too far away.

Second stay in this hotel. Spacious room for the price (Deluxe Room), clean, things worked. On fairly quiet side street, but just around the corner from one of the entrances to Chandni Chowk metro station. OK Breakfast included. The standard of budget options in Kolkota is very poor in general. I've stayed in a lot of places around Sudder Street / Marquis Street that are much worse that this. All the comments previously made about the lift are true. Many of the rooms are tiny too - but the deluxe rooms are actually pretty good.
