Hotel Nishat , shimla

Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely and peaceful with no annoying noise. About 10 to 15 minute pleasant walk to the centre of town. Great views from my room and amazing 360 degree views from the rooftop.

Detail Review. There are plenty of hotel in Shimla which are on road & directly accesible by car & almost 90% hotels have valley view. This hotel is not on road & u will have to pay 200 Rs. per day for paid parking which is very far. The hotel rooms are clean and good.They maintain it very well. But it's located in one corner. So, people might find it difficult to locate.Better is to call the hotel reception and confirm the route. But once you get to know the route it's very easily accessible from The Ridge and bazzars. As a budget traveller, this hotel is over priced considering its location , distance to reach hotel , amenities and size. From Kalka to Shimla , bus traveling takes 3 hours + 1 hour in case of traffic jam. On the other way, train traveling takes 6 - 7 hours. As it is a hill station, always be ready to walk.
