Dirty, awful conditions. Don't book!

by NomoreNizza on 17 Dec 2016 (Business Traveller)

I was put in this hotel by a company I was working for, during the Messe time. Nothing else was available in the city, the company had paid over 100 Euro per night. This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in Germany. The check-in staff spoke absolutely no German, virtually no English. I had to use hand gestures, to make myself understood. Internet site claims free internet, but it's a lie - you have to pay (too much), every single day. When I first arrived in the room I was so stunned that I sa...

Nice hotel and cozy hotel. We've been traveling for work (boot messe). Breakfast was good. Staff and maids are excellent. It is close to center. There is very nice Turquish restaurant nearby Izmir and kebap saray.

Not so good

by Pech V on 27 Jul 2015 (Friends Traveller)

This hotel is dirty. We stayed there for one night and am very happy we didn't stay any longer. The reception looks very poor, the elevator is very small and old. The room we stayed in was small and dirty, there were all kind of things on the floor and under the radiator like used earplugs. The bed was also bad, I felt the springs in my back. The couch in the room was full of stains. The shower was dark (light defect), again small and again not so clean. The wifi is 3 euro per day (so not fr...

Average hotel in good location

by Stephanos1 on 25 Apr 2015 (Friends Traveller)

Nizza is an average, budgeted hotel in good location, only a few minutes walk from the main train station (dusseldorf hauptbahnhof). Rooms are small and old fashioned while the breakfast is not that bad (but not available during weekends - at least during the one we have stayed there). Staff were very kind and helpful, hotel is recommended for people who need a place for sleep and shower and do not plan to spend their time in the hotel.

Cheap and Central

by Malcolm T on 16 Dec 2014 (Solo Traveller)

Not suitable for a family visit but for a bed and bathroom near the Central rail station and plenty of cheap restaurants it was ideal. No dinning facilities and the bandwidth of the broadband was minimal. Would suit a stag-party weekend on a restricted budget. Staff were friendly and helpful.
