Very comfortable bed but smelly Hotel and room

by johann266 on 20 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed at the Novecento Hotel in Pisa in December 2016. The room was good with a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the building smelled as if someone was constantly smoking in it even though it was a non smoking building and room. Would not stay again due to this.

Helpful staff

We spent a few days at this small hotel. It is within 10 minutes of everywhere in Pisa but feels a bit isolated for that. We got the choice of 2 rooms on arrival and chose the one next to the internal garden rather than the roadside one, thought noise might be an issue. Very nice hotel near leaning tower

by Hey-Airdrie on 02 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Lovely hotel with a five minute walk to The Leaning Tower. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with many choices. There were many very nice restaurants close to the hotel. This hotel had a lovely little quiet garden courtyard where you could order a beer or glass of wine. The management speak very little English but we were able to fumble through various questions. Good location

Good value

We spent a night here. The hotel is well located for the campo dei miracoli and very reasonably priced for the area. They kept breakfast for us even though we missed the 9.30 am deadline. The rooms are comfortable and there is a small garden. One thing to watch is that the side streets nearby have a vehicle breakin problem. The hotel also owns a nearby osteria which produces simple but tasty food and wine, including excellent pasta and steaks.

Great Little Hotel and Great Location

by David L on 24 Aug 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We struggled to find on the internet a hotel in Pisa for August due to it being a busy time of the year just before the Italian Bank Holiday and we stumbled across this lovely hotel on a side street leading up to the main attractions of Pisa. I read that the staff couldn't speak English but so what you are in Italy learn some basic Italian. In fact the 2 ladies who were on the reception spoke excellent English. The rooms are lovely with a great Italian feel to them and to sit in the gardens in t...
