Great little hotel!

by Semmy22 on 23 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

Had an overnight as part of a planned layover enroute to Zürich. Easy transport links to Schipol, train access to canal district. Modern and clean with comfortable rooms (albeit, on the smaller side) If you tend to spend a lot of time in your room, spend the money and stay at a Starwood hotel. If you like funky little boutiques with great staff and unique feel, this is a great option in a very social town.

Does what it says on the tin but nothing special

We stayed here for four nights in late December. The hotel has great transport links to the city centre. There's a tram stop directly outside the front door which takes you to wherever you need to be. However what really let the hotel down for us was the breakfast - what a shambles! It's served in the main bar/lounge area of the hotel and get's very crowded. It's a continental selection and very poor at that. No toast, eggs etc. The put everything on large trays which sit onto of the bar co...

Nice hotel

by 164Bluebell94 on 18 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Hotel was good for what we needed. The standard double room was tiny but it is well kept and clean. We got to the hotel via the train from Amsterdam airport to Amsterdam Central, then got a taxi to the hotel but you could take the tram 4 to the hotel which stops just outside hotel v. Staff ask for your room keys whenever you leave the hotel which is unusual but understandable. Safe in the room but no kettles etc

Disappointing but good location

by Debbie M on 15 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

The photos have been very cleverly edited as the tiny rooms are more hostel like with little more than a bed and at over £100 a night there are many other hotels in the area much nicer for the same price. Our room was beyond freezing and we had to be moved twice before finding one with decent heat. We were the ones doing the running around as staff seem to be pretty uninterested that we were unhappy. There is no dressing table or mirror to get ready and the shower doesn't have a door so the ...

NICE HOTEL

by Reagan F on 09 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Not too far from centre but get the no 4 tram. Room was small but nice. Breakfast is rubbish no bacon or sausage so didn't eat it. Loved the shower. There's a hot helpful guy on reception. 7/10. Under the bed could be hoovered but the room was clean. Good heating in the room. Nice to chill out in at times.
