Don't expect much from this place
by Charlie K on 30 Oct 2016 (Friends Traveller)
This place is cheap for a reason. It has not been upgraded for a while, so it does look dated. But this is reflected in the price. Nonetheless, we still found hairs on the pillows and hairdryer. It's one bonus is the location. It is very close to the centre and you can reach most places by walking.
First time in Canada Montreal!!
by lucy3383 on 27 Oct 2016 (Solo Traveller)
''The hotel is clean, very secure,(you also have your own key for the main entrance to the hotel).. The staff are all friendly and helpful, breakfast is very nice but very basic,a croissant, jam, and a drink. I would book this hotel next time 10/10!! Their is a working computer with internet in the breakfast room. Thank you to all the hotel staff for making me feel so welcome during my first time in Canada!.'' Lucy S.'' xxx
good place but the worst internet
by ariansman on 20 Oct 2016
It was a clean and good hotel in general. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very friendly. But internet was the worst I have ever seen. You have problem to connect to internet. You need to try several times. You also get disconnected a lot. You are in the middle of a job and see that the internet is gone. That’s so embarrassing. The internet speed is very slow. It seems to me they have got the cheapest internet possible for the hotel. The staff could not help me, because this was not in t...
Great staff! Great location. Everything we needed for 3-day stay.
by mshoukou on 07 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)
Rooms are clean, and done daily. The staff is caring. French breakfast. Perfect downtown location! We were really happy there, and will come back! I made a mistake in my booking, and as a result came a week earlier. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during the busiest time - weekend when everything is booked.
Bare Necessities Hotel but close to Montreal Lakeshore
by May S on 07 Sep 2016 (Family Traveller)
We stayed at this hotel as a pit-stop from our trip to Quebec City. Location was great as its steps away from the Montreal Lakeshore area. Rate was really low for a downtown Montreal place, but not surprising as the hotel is very 'basic'. In fact from the outside, the place looks run-down. PROs: The hotel staff are really nice, courteous and fast with their service. We called them to check about the AC, and they promptly came. The sheets are clean, the towels are fresh and clean. The ro...
