Nice stay at hotel. Location of hotel is great. Good efforts are being put by Mr. Wazid to manage the property. Housekeeping is good by Mr. Salim inspite of shortage of manpower. Scope to upgrade hospitility professionalism is felt while stay.

Recently stayed in Badar Resort and Spa.Staff are very humble. Rooms are spacious. Just Hotel management need to put more attention, in -16?? they just had a small heater. Extra blanket were provided by helping staff. Hotel Management need to put more attention on room heaters and bathroom heaters.Location is wonderful.

Had a great stay at Badr Resort. The service was excellent and the staff especially Gulbaz & Shahid were very polite and helpful. The hospitality was warm and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Declining Hotel Condition

Badar Resorts is located at Gagangir, around 12 km before Sonamarg. The location is quite pleasant during the summer months, offering a calm environment and scenic surroundings. However, during winter, the area feels very isolated and lonely, which may not suit all travelers.The hotel appears to have been well-constructed initially and seems to have been designed with good facilities, including central heating, cooling, and a central hot water system, similar to larger hotels. Unfortunately, over time, regular maintenance seems to have been neglected.At present, the central systems are not functional. Hot water is provided through individual geysers, but the water capacity is very limited and not sufficient even for one proper bath. In winters, instead of central heating, portable radiators are provided, which are inadequate for extreme cold conditions where temperatures can drop to -20??C or below.The rooms and furniture clearly show signs of aging. Paint is peeling off in some areas, and overall the property needs thorough maintenance and refurbishment to restore it to its original standard.On a positive note, the staff is cooperative and polite, which is appreciated. However, service delivery is quite slow. For most room services, one often needs to call two or three times before the request is attended to.Overall, considering the location, facilities in their current condition, and service experience, I would rate Badr Resorts as a 3-star property and give it a 3-star rating.If proper maintenance is carried out and the original facilities are restored, the hotel has strong potential to offer a much better experience.
