The best thing about this hotel the entire staff. From the manager to waiters to guard to cooks to front desk manager... Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful.The only thing is that the location is not at a landmark. Although river Jhelum is a 10-15 minute walk away.

’’’’’’ Pleasant Family Stay with Great Food & ServiceWe stayed at Rose Petal Hotel, Srinagar for 3 nights with family during the last week of November 2025. The hotel is located about 30 minutes from Srinagar Airport and is situated in a good locality. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for a family, and the staff were very polite, helpful, and prompt in their services. The food was delicious with good variety, which made our stay even more enjoyable.There are, however, a few areas for improvement. Cleaning and maintenance need more attention. During our stay, the room curtains seemed unwashed for months and had visible dust and the film/sticker on the outside bathroom wall was also starting to peel off (photos attached). The city itself was quite dusty during our visit, which might have contributed to the issue.Overall, we had a pleasant stay and it is a good option for families visiting Srinagar. With a little more focus on cleanliness and upkeep, this hotel can easily offer an excellent experience.

Pros:Location is almost in the heart of the city. Almost all shops are easily accesible (even by walk). Breakfast and dinner was good (not many varieties though).Cons:Not worth of a 4-star hotel in terms of room service. We stayed there for 5 days but they never cleaned the rooms even on request. They filled water n tea/coffee sachets only based on request.
