horrible experience. though it is declared as 4 star property but on arrival all are just watching me n my family and we had to carry our bags up to lobby. thereafter we had to wait long time for room. they gave us room on 3rd floor. after opening the room it was full of pungent urine smell. I just opposed and asked for another room. after one hour they give me room no. 621 and it was ok. This property it located about 5 km from Puri prime sea beach area area though they show in their pictures d sea is adjacent to it, one cannot excess it. Hotel have no own vehicle and there is a TRAVEL DESK inside the hotel and they demand minimum 800/- for dropping us to sea beach if we wish to go again we have to book one hour prior. there is a AUTO stand in front of hotel and they are also demand 900/- both way for one hour up to 5 km JAGANNATH DHAM is 4 km away from here and if I go on Auto to n from is 1200/- and if I book from travel desk it is 1800 to 2100 for 4 hour and with 10 km. I suggest all not to prefer this property if any one want to excess sea beach and mandir darshan. otherwise it is a cool and lonely area. Only plus point is that it is a property covered with large area with less maintenance. After sun set you have no communication with Puri prime area.

Worst resort visited so far. Visited from a feedback given by a friend who visited two years back to this resort. Definitely not the way it was back then. The food is so bad and the restaurant is so unhygienic we had to search for places around to have our meals. There were baby cockroaches running all over the breads and croissants and the place isn’t maintained like before. The resort is overpriced for the services they provide. The swimming pool is filled with crow poop and poorly maintained. Please don’t visit this resort by the pics they post online. Definitely not the way it is pictured when you go there.

WORST Resort ever. Its evident from other reviews that hotel management doesnt care one bit about the feedback from guests so i will try to keep it short. Being an artist who has travelled the world for last 20 yrs, this by far was the most frustrating stay ive encountered. Everything that other guests have mentioned in their 1 star review is true. Calls go unanswered. Every little thing you need will take hours and multiple phone calls to arrange. The hotel’s leadership should be ashamed of themselves for rendering such poor hospitality. Just gonna leave u guys with a pic of the towel they provided. My dusting rag looks better than this. Good luck staying at this resort to anyone who’s considering .

One of the worst experiences of my life.I booked a room at Chariot Beach Resort for my wedding anniversary for two nights, staying with my 7-month-old infant. After checking in, my wife was feeding the baby and urgently needed food. I kept calling the restaurant and reception, but no one answered for nearly two hours.After two hours, someone finally answered from reception. When I explained that no one had responded and that I needed room service immediately, I was shocked by his rude reply. He said there was a shortage of room service staff and asked me to go to the restaurant instead. His tone and behavior were extremely unprofessional.To make matters worse, the room had lizards and mosquitoes. At night, I requested an extra bedsheet at the reception. The staff said they would bring it in an hour. When I followed up again after an hour, they simply said ’sorry’ and delayed again. Somehow, I managed to get through the first night.On the second day morning, when I planned to give my baby a bath, the water coming from the tap was completely black (I have a video for proof). When I reported this, they said there was an issue with the motor. Even the swimming pool was poorly maintained and not clean.The only positive thing about this resort is the beach. Other than that, nothing is worth it. The food taste was very bad as well.I noticed some other few customer also shouting at the management due to they are poor room serviceDue to the poor service and maintenance, I decided to check out early and informed the management. However, they refused to refund the amount for the unused day, claiming it was against their policy. I didn’t pay the food bill (around ’3,000), while the room itself cost around ’10,000.Note: I strongly do not recommend Chariot Beach Resort.
