Whether you want buttery parathas for breakfast or a handi of biryani for dinner, there is a LOT to choose from across its 500+ partner restaurants. Passengers can book these meals from vendors at all those stations that offer this service.

To place a food delivery order via the ixigo trains app, you can follow the steps listed below:
1) Through My Bookings
> Open the ixigo trains app. Tap on the ‘Profile’ icon at the right bottom of the home page.
> Tap on ‘My Bookings’ and then ‘Train’
> Tap on ‘Upcoming Booked Trips’.
> You will now be able to see the ‘Order Now’ option.
> Tapping on this option will take you to the e-catering home page, where you can choose your preferred station and restaurants. You can place an order for your favourite meal now.
> While checking out, you just need to fill in some basic details (name, mobile number, etc.) and tap on ‘Proceed’. Once the payment is complete, the food will be delivered to your seat at the time that’s displayed on the e-catering home page.
2) Tapping on ‘Trips’ at the bottom of the home page is another starting point for placing the food order.
3) To place an order via the ixigo trains app, you can also tap on the ‘IRCTC Food Booking’ option on the home screen. Enter your 10-digit PNR number, choose the items you want to order from the available restaurants, and pay online or via cash on delivery when your food arrives.
You can place your order by making a phone call on 1323 as well. Keep your train name and seat/berth number ready to save time!
