Convenient to train station, great breakfast

by 46Elizabeth53 on 07 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

This was our first trip to Lyon and we wanted a reasonably priced hotel that was convenient to the Part Dieu train station. This hotel's location was perfect (just three blocks) and given that we stayed over a weekend, very reasonably priced. The breakfast was a very generous buffet with bread, cheese, sliced meats, dry cereals, yoghurt, fruit and eggs for you to boil. The big public market is just across the street, so you can purchase a wide range of fresh food. While the location was conv...

Another value stop over from Ibis

by PandM_Gr on 30 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

The hotel was really busy but despite this the hotel reception staff were really helpful in directing us to likely restaurant spots. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel is in easy walking distance from the station and other entertainment amenities such as cinema and theatre. There is a great deal of redevelopment going on around the hotel which makes drop off difficult. There is a hotel under-ground car park (a bit pricey) but very close to the hotel is a multi-storey ca...

Great location for exploring Lyon

by Robscourf on 27 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Spent four nights at the Ibis and followed the 3 day walking tour sent by Accor which was very worthwhile. Accommodation, food and service was first class. Hotel situated close to railway station and tram stop which made accessing public transport very easy. Main purpose of visit was to attend rugby game at the Matmut Stadium which was again easily accessible bypublic transport.

Small Room

by Paul S on 18 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed here for two nights to explore Lyon. Considering the high cost on a Thursday night this was quite a disappointment. The room on the ninth floor was very small and badly designed. Fortunately the hotel was close to the station and many restaurants and bars. It was on a very busy road which did not help having a good night's sleep. I would not recommend it due to the position of the hotel.A hotel further away from the constant traffic might have been more suitable.

Nice hotel with a great service

by fjaguero on 27 Sep 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We used Waynabox to travel to Lyon. The hotel employees were really nice to us, specially the two girls working on the restaurant. I'm not giving 5 stars because the rooms are a little bit small, but still worthy.
