How can I get a refund for my booking if I have opted for Free Cancellation?

To get your refund, please refer to the 'Full Refund Window' table for detailed information on cancellation and refund related timelines. The amount will be credited to your account along with the airline refund.

Please note: If the booking is cancelled on the airline website or by the airline, you need to place a cancellation request on the ixigo app. However, you don’t need to fill any additional forms.

I have not received any document/certificate to show that my booking is eligible for 'Free Cancellation'. What should I do?

You do not require any certificate or additional documents to avail Free Cancellation benefits. Your Booking ID will be considered as a reference for your refund with Free Cancellation.

How will I receive the refund amount?

After the cancellation has been initiated, the refund will be credited to the original mode of payment.

How much time will it take for the refund to be processed?

Once the cancellation request has been successfully initiated, the refund will be processed instantly.
However, in cases where the flight has been cancelled by the airline, instant refund will not be applicable. We will validate the request with the airline and post that, the refund will be credited to the original mode of payment.

How much time in advance will I have to cancel my booking to get a full refund?
