Good and bad

by kebav on 11 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Stayed for two nights at the inn. lovely setting in the courtyard. quiet room. was shown to our room by a lovely chap who explained about switch for shower. bed was comfortable although not as clean as it should be. see pic. towels provided were a bit old and not clean. I was shocked that they had been put in a room. see pic rooms could do with a lick of paint. Shower was over bath. New fitting required for shower head as it didn't sit right . Breakfast was great freshly cooked. We also had ev...

Dated and shabby

by felix9494 on 02 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

After looking for somewhere cheap but nice to stay for a quiet weekend visiting the area, the Inn seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations, the room was shabby and could do with a deep clean and a lick of paint, the wall above the headboard showed marks of greasy heads resting against it, there were dirty soap splashes on the bathroom wall and a long curly black hair stuck to the shower. Old World Charm

by BridgetHB on 31 Aug 2016 (Family Traveller)

Great staff who are willing to help with anything...dated accommodation but clean and comfortable and comes at a great price..would recommend. Not sure if it has wheelchair accessible rooms, but it has downstairs rooms, would have to contact them to find out about accessible bathrooms.

These were later pointed out to the staff. The room it self was ok, but no...

A nice place

by Mick W on 04 Jul 2016 (Family Traveller)

My wife and baby son stayed here at the weekend before going to a wedding. The staff were incredibly friendly and really helpful, lovely people. They turned around the room really quickly so we could check-in at 11am (!) and get changed before the wedding at 12. Wonderful. We paid around £50 for the room which was a bargain. Longforgan is in a lovely location and the courtyard is delightful. The rooms need updating, absolutely - this isn't the Hilton or a new boutique countryside B&B - it'...
