View from everywhere!

by Rexenmaggie on 04 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

The owners of Luma Casa de Montana built a magnificent building and furnished it tastefully, interesting and romantic. We had 3 rooms for our family and all 3 were exceptional and all individual. We loved the veranda that we had from our room. Perfect place for a sundowner or early morning coffee. We had dinner there on 2 nights, food was great, service could have been a bit faster. We stayed for 3 nights but could easily have stayed 3 more. There is a lot to see and do in the area. I would not t...

Great views but lacking the finishing touches

by notebene on 10 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

On the edge of the town approx 25 mins walk to get to the town centre. Easy to get taxis back to the hotel. There are 1-2 restaurants approx 10-15 mins walk from the hotel if you don't want to walk into town. Tried Chop Chop parrilla and it was very good. Positives +Outstanding views +Spacious bedrooms +Superb design and decor Areas for improvement -Breakfast is buffet style, so you can end up not speaking with anyone. The breakfast is ok but I have had a lot better in chain hotels....

Absolutely Superb!

by Paul A on 02 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Words are difficult to describe what a wonderful property this is with beautiful views over the lake and very close to the small town of Villa La Angostura. This is a family run boutique hotel which I could not fault and according to my wife I am impossible to please! The bedrooms are very large at over 50m2 and are very tastefully decorated and furnished. The views from the bedrooms and hotel dining and lounge areas are superb. Marco and his mother who own and run this gem of a hotel are genui...

Romantic retreat

by dancingpiglit on 15 Sep 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We have just returned back to the UK after spending our honeymoon in Argentina. Initially, we intended to stay for 3 nights at Luma Casa but we ended up staying for 10! The hotel has a beautiful location with views that you could never tire of from the suites and public areas. The staff were incredibly friendly and more than happy to provide anything that we needed - it felt more like staying in someone's home than a hotel. Even though it was off season and quiet, they were happy to light the...

Luma is missing the essential

by Milly G on 23 Jun 2016 (Couple Traveller)

If you want a cold coffee in the morning and other missing essential features please visit Luma. The views and the place are very nice but they still lack the essential: a good service or the right employees in place. That's why I am speaking about the essential...I like paying a lot of money for a room IF they will provide me with the essential and this is the best service, the best coffee in the morning and the very best friendly atmosphere.
