Nice stay

by anncheeka on 09 Aug 2016 (Friends Traveller)

Me and my brother booked a room 5 minutes earlier that we arrived here at 9pm and it was no problem. We stayed only one night, without breakfast. Room was perfect, everything was ok, except the boss or receptionist who didn't know much english..we had to speak also Slovenian that we could translate to him what we wanted. Except that, everything was ok. Specially the view at the city at night, I loved it.

Are they running a business or not?

I was to travel to Bratislava with my family and needed some place nice and calm to stay. This pension looked just like the thing I was looking for. I was going to travel in summer, but wanted to make bookings well in advance, to be on a safe side. So I wrote an email to this hotel/pension specifying the sort of room I'd need and the exact dates of our visit. Any hotel owner would be happy with this, right? Wrong. Not this one. You get for what you pay for

by Gals_Adventure85 on 22 Feb 2016 (Solo Traveller)

Location was good but very noisy and such a shame because there was constuction work going on outside so was quite noisy. Room was big and nice but no hair dryer like describe in the booking. Wifi was slow. Breakfast was basic. Both the receptionist was nice but the staff in the cafe for breakfast was not as warm. if anything they can be quite rude. Overall it was ok for the amount of money you pay.

Don't stay here

Booked this place for a night on my way to Vienna from Budapest Bratislava is small.and lacks the huge charm that Vienna and Budapest have But is cute in its own way Moving onto the hotel, it is far from the city centre and is pointless unless u have a car - which we had It was hard to find The rooms are decent and look OK Newish with some charm But the staff are terrible There was one old guy who checked us in and gave the room farthest away - even though it looked like there was only one other...

Stay away!

by Tourist12344321 on 19 Nov 2012

I visited this hotel in summer 2010. This pension/hotel is not as good as the reviews says.. The receptionist is the owner who it seems do EVERYTHING on the hotel, appearantly too much for him to handle.. The location is not the best, but the view is awesome. The price is low, but not low enough. The standard on the rooms are a bit below average. The breakfast was not tested since we were to tired to wake up early enough. The service are not even nearby what you expect from a so-called hotel. Be...
