Lock Fare Now, Book Later

1. The Price Lock feature is an option offered by Le Travenues Technology Limited (ixigo) on select flight tickets, aiming to help users who are uncertain about their travel plans. It minimises the risk of the user having to pay a higher price, in case of fluctuations in the flight ticket fare for a given time frame.

2. The user needs to be logged into the ixigo application or website to avail the Price Lock benefit as provided on our flight listing page.

3. The Price Lock fee is a one-time charge, in addition to the full flight ticket price. It is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted with the final booking amount.

4. If a user opts for the Price Lock option for a flight they wish to book via the ixigo mobile application, the locked fare can be held for 4 hours to up to 2 days, depending on the available options.

5. To confirm the booking at the fare held with Price Lock, payment for the selected flight ticket must be made within the holding period. Failure to make full payment within the specified timeframe will result in the expiration of the Price Lock and automatic cancellation of the locked fare.

6. Users who opt for Price Lock must complete their booking through the 'My Trips' section on the ixigo mobile application or website within the specified timeframe. If the booking is not completed before the expiry of the Price Lock period, the locked fare will lapse.

7. Once exercised or expired, the Price Lock will have no further value and will be deemed null and void for further exercise, redemption or renewal. The fee is used up and cannot be claimed back.

8. If the Price Lock expires unexercised, the user's rights on the locked fare will be lost without any further value. There can be no refund or exchange in any manner for an expired lock.

9. The Price Lock fee is charged on a per traveller basis. For multiple travellers, the fee must be paid for each individual.

10. The booking for locked fare must be confirmed before the Price Lock hold period expires. The selected flight ticket and the number of users cannot be modified after the payment for the Price Lock. The names of the travellers only need to be provided at the time of the final booking.

11. If the user opts for the Price Lock option, the fare will be locked for the selected flight and all travellers in the booking.

12. Booking details cannot be modified during an active Price Lock holding period and the booking must be completed as it is.

13. Users don't need to provide the traveller names at the time of locking the fare. Names of the travellers will only be required at the time of final booking.

14. The Price Lock option is offered subject to availability. It is only available for bookings made via the ixigo application or website.

15. In the unlikely event that flight inventory is sold out or a flight is no longer available before the final booking is completed, ixigo will refund the Price Lock fee paid by the user within 7 working days.

16. All other terms of carriage as available on the ixigo website and mobile application shall be applicable.

17. The convenience fee charged by ixigo on the flight tickets will only be applied at the time of final booking.

18. ixigo will absorb any price rise up to a maximum of ₹4000 only per traveller.

19. The Price Lock option only offers a price guarantee and not a seat guarantee. It is only valid until seats last. ixigo shall refund the entire Price Lock fee if the seats on the selected flight are sold out.

20. The fare at which the flight is locked does not include any add-on services that the user may avail at the time of final booking.

21. ixigo reserves the right to restrict the availability of Price Lock.

22. The purpose of Price Lock is to lock the fare selected by the user for a certain timeframe. It should not be construed as an amount paid as a security deposit for conclusion of the contract of carriage.

23. The Price Lock fee refund amount will be credited to the original mode of payment within 7 working days.

24. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of ixigo shall apply.

25. ixigo reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and liability and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not or to extend or withdraw it altogether.

26. ixigo is the sole authority for the interpretation of these terms.

27. ixigo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising due to a force majeure event.

28. In the event of any misuse or abuse of the service by the customer or travel agent, ixigo reserves the right to deny the offer or cancel the booking.

29. In no event, the entire liability of ixigo under this offer shall exceed the amount ₹4000 per traveller.

30. ixigo shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential damages and loss arising out of or in connection with this service.

31. Disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana.

32. In instances where there is suspected fraudulent activity or misuse of Price Lock, ixigo may request supporting documentation to verify the relationship between the person making the booking and the traveller. Failure to provide the requested documentation may result in the cancellation of the booking, with the user bearing any associated cancellation charges.

33. In such cases, ixigo reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel the booking without prior notice.

34. Furthermore, ixigo reserves the right to take appropriate legal action if misuse or fraud is detected.
