This summer, don’t worry about facing the heat on railway platforms! In order to provide comfort to passengers waiting at railway platforms, Railway Ministry has taken a very thoughtful step.
Indian Railways has installed a new mist cooling system at Mathura Junction.
As per the report, this system reduces the temperature by 7-8 degrees Celsius at the platform. This mist cooling system, unlike an air-conditioning system, helps to keep the outdoors cool at a very less cost. More importantly, the system can be installed easily.
Earlier this year, the Mathura railway station was given a new makeover under the Railway Ministry’s station beautification and redevelopment program. The Indian Railways targeted to complete the redevelopment work of 68 railway stations as soon as possible.
