Fantastic location, with friendly staff

by szabiszabiszabi on 22 Dec 2016 (Friends Traveller)

The riad is a few minute walk from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square, but beware, approaching the riad for the first time is hard! You have to find your way in narrow streets, so be preparedd to download a map app and type the address in. The riad is at the end of the street (we turned back a few meters before, we couldn't find it without help). Everything but this is awesome, the staff, the stlye, the food(!!), the terrace... Would recommend and will stay here again.

Stay here!!

by laura h on 10 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

WE loved this place. It was right in the heart of the Medina and so very convenient. Our host/manger was Rashid and he was so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and he upgraded us to a larger room than we had reserved since he had it available. We had an early flight the next day and Rashid got up early to make us breakfast! While we were in Marrakech we visited the souks, the square, Baldi Palace and we watched the sun set from the Terrace at Grande Balcone Cafe.

Charming and Authentic Riad, great location and wonderful staff

by Michael K on 29 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

Our family of 4, including two boys, 7y and 9 y, stayed mid Oct for 6 nights at Raid Alamir. We were incredibly happy with our stay as the Riad feels authentic and is complimented by its staff who did everything to make our stay special. Rachid was there every evening and for breakfast to discuss our plans and helped to organised trips and events. As mentioned in other reviews, I would accept the offer of the taxi transfer from the airport as the Riad is a little hard to find (part of the ch...

Atmospheric and traditional Riad

by David B on 25 Aug 2016 (Friends Traveller)

The challenge is finding it !! If you are arriving from the airport ask Amine (manager) to get you met there. About £6 for the transport which is well advised otherwise you WILL end up relying on locals for directions in the pedestrian only alleys. Comfortable rooms and two terraces. Great for catching the rays but have sun cream !! Good food but above all is the hospitality. The staff really care about you. Good base for exploring the medina. Area feels a bit 'edgy' but is safe if you w...

A beautiful Riad at the heart of the Medina

by Sylvia G on 18 Aug 2016 (Family Traveller)

We stayed for 4 days/3 nights at this lovely Riad. Our transfer from the airport was kindly arranged by Amine and all the staff Rachid and Fatima in particular were super helpful and really friendly. Breakfast were copious and the room we had was lovely and cool thanks to air conditioning. Given the punishing heat in August this was very welcome indeed. The pool is great and was big enough for our daughters to play in during the afternoon when temperatures soared. Rachid kindly suggested a few ...
