While our visit coincided with no room at the inn, we were at least able to savour Riad El Fenn's excellent dining facilities. Indeed, two visits on one day, the first for lunch and then later for supper, are a fair testament to our very favourable impressions. The food was fresh and exquisitely cooked and was washed down with very drinkable local wine. The general ambience is delightful and service friendly, yet in no way obsequious. We hope that our next visit will allow for observations o...

Home away from home if you home is an exotic shrine of style

by worldofT on 11 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

After my second visit to Marrakech and after my second stay at El Fenn, I can happily say there isn't a place in the city I rather stay in. I have visited many of them during my stay only to find out El Fen is truly the perfect balance of intimate and grand, approachable yet glamorous and personal yet private. Not to mention only steps away from the market! Can't wait to be back. Thanks for making me feel right at home! :)

A lovely place

by TheHappyCamper2013 on 10 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

El Fenn is an oasis of rest and luxury in the crowded Medina offering a variety of grand and odd rooms in an environment suggesting luxury and service. In fact the enthusiasm of the visitors may have led the star to believe great service and good food are a given, and not a goal to be achieved. Breakf...

GREAT LOCATION in Medina - if that is what you want

by kim r on 10 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

El Fenn is lovely. On checkin they offer a tour of the Riad with a brief history and explanation of why the Riad has been renovated as it is. El Fenn definitely has charm and character that are out of the ordinary. The art work is both grand and eye catching. The roof top area for meals is most enjoyable. If you want this location IN THE MEDINA this is a very good choice. Personally, we have stayed in the Riad La Maison Arabe on previous visits and much preferred that choice FOR A RIAD although ...

Paradise Found in Marrakech

by Kim F on 05 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

I spent the most lovely week at El Fenn over New Year's. One word––heaven! Every room is exquisite and unique. Think wildly comfortable beds, gorgeous linens, world class artwork (Vanessa Branson is a co-owner after all). The staff are so kind and helpful, booking guides for day trips, cars or taxis when needed, offering great recommendations for local culinary delights. The bar and restaurant was always comfortably buzzing with a cool crowd, and every day begins on the roof terrace for a delici...
