Safari hotel experience

by 123fredd on 05 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

The hotel is really run down and the rooms need refurbishing and maintenance. Taps were dirty and the hot water tap for the washbasin did not work. Floor tiles cracked all over the room, and the walls can do with some painting and crack fixing. The aircon in the breakfast room did not work, and therefore it was uncomfortable hot.

Help given quickly and efficiently when you really needed

by WorldwideAtraveller on 02 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We would probably only give this hotel a Poor rating, or at best an Average rating expect for the fact that they really helped out when we needed them. We had checked into our room early afternoon on a Thursday, and already returned our hire vehicle, since we were joining a Nomad Africa Overland Tour departing from the hotel early the following morning. Good hotel, quite centrally located

by Schnueseli on 27 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

We got a big family room with four beds next to each other, fridge and air conditioner. We got a welcome drink and had complimentary water in the room. TV (working badly), free wifi, which worked in the room, laundry service. Pool, free pool towels and plenty of sun deck chairs. Kids were very happy. Would have liked to spend more than one night and visit Windhoek and relax/unwind here instead of traveling to the Okavango Delta the next day. We had dinner at the restaurant of the Safari Court an...

A good hotel to rest after a very long flight

by Moti A on 26 Nov 2016 (Friends Traveller)

We arrived after a flight that took us stopping over in Addis Abba and Johannesburg so it took about 22 hours to arrive. We were exhausted and only wanted a showr and get to sleep. The rooms were comfortable clean. Hot water was available. In the morning we had a very good breakfast and had recuperate to start to arrange for our traveling. The rooms just like any other international hotel. The lobby had an African feel to it. The staff was kind and helpfully.

Stayed here on arrival in Windhoek on the first night before a camping safari, served that purpose well enough. the restaurant and the bar were fine and the staff friendly and helpful.pleasant enough surroundings.
