Dirty, noisy and falling apart.

We booked a double room for one night. On arrival we booked in and were told that our room was on the 3rd floor....only accessible by stairs - not quite what we needed after a long, hard day. The room floor sloped meaning that to lay in bed the right way around meant that feet were higher than head. The room was incredibly basic and in dire need of a good clean and repair. The bathroom reeked of mould (see pictures) and the whole place had an air of unkempt and filthy. Constant noise all nigh...

Great if all you want is a bed for the night.

I was sort of impressed by this place. Me and three mates were in Brighton to go clubbing for the night, so we needed a bed to sleep in - and this place provided it for £25! So very efficient in that respect. We booked two rooms, each with bunkbeds. The room's were both ensuite and had a window (albeit the views were brick walls and you didn't really get any sunshine). The rooms had radiators and were warm when we arrived, which was good for this time of year (November). The bathrooms didn't ha...

Went on a stag do with 10 people. The place is in a good location, close to Vodka Revs, and Komedia Comedy club and opposite the waterfront so you actually get surprisingly good views. The place is as you would expect a cheap hostel to be, a bit run down, but good enough for what you need, the rooms were clean and the staff were helpful when you asked them a question. Breakfast is tea/coffee/toast/cereal. Bedsheet provided and there is one bathroom per room of 8. Also there is lockable storage u...

Great position, cheap as chips and about as unpretentious as it gets. Went on stag do, 8 of us shared a room, breakfast is tea/ coffee, toast and jam or cereal and sort yourself out. Bedding looked pretty clean, and bed ok. Comment before that the top bunks are pretty low spot on. First time in a hostel so didn't realise there's no towels or soaps etc provided. Reception did provide a postage stamp sized towel and these chaps were welcoming. It is what it is and it fills a need, I won't knoc...

For convenience and affordability it's not bad, but don't expect great quality. The room was bland and the bathroom smelled unpleasant, although the beds seemed quite clean. The top bunks are annoyingly low though, and I knocked my head a few times being in the bottom bed. Sharing with up to 7 other people also means that you're very dependant on everyone being respectful and sharing the space well. A very basic free breakfast is included, which is handy. WiFi sucked tremendously. Good for a pl...
